Project Recipe
You will need to cut your paper in the following sizes:
For the Mini "Apple" box
Real Red cardstock 6" x 6"
Whisper White cardstock 2 1/2" x 2 1/2"
Whisper White cardstock 1 1/2" x 1 1/2"
Mossy Meadow cardstock 2 1/2" x 2 1/2"
Apple note card holder
Pretty Peacock cardstock 3 3/8" x 3 3/8"
Come to Gather Designer Series Paper
3 1/8" x 3 1/8"
Pretty Peacock cardstock 3" x 3"
Whisper White cardstock 3" x 3"
Real Red Glimmer paper 3" x 3"
Mossy Meadow cardstock scrap
Note card, to make one card
Whisper White cardstock 6" x 3", scored at 3"
Whisper White cardstock 2 1/2" x 2 1/2"
Real Red, Granny Apple Green or Crushed Curry cardstock 3" x 3"
Very Vanilla cardstock 3" x 2"
Early Espresso scrap
Granny Apple Green scrap
To make the "Apple" box
Cut out the "apple" using the 6" x 6" Real Red cardstock and the Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box dies and your diecutting machine.
Using the apple stamp from the Harvest Hellos stamp set, color only the inside markings of the apple with a Basic Black Stampin' Write marker and stamp onto all four sections of the apple.
Fold "Apple" along fold lines and form into box, add any items into the box before you close it completely.
Stamp the worm from the Wiggle Worm stamp set onto Whisper White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento ink. Cut out the worm with your die cutting machine and the coordinating Wiggly Bugs dies.
Using Stampin' Blends color your worm and adhere onto the front of the box using mini dimensionals.
Stamp the sentiment onto Whisper White cardstock using Real Red ink. Cut out the sentiment using the heart die from the Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box die set and your die cutting machine.
Cut out leaf using Mossy Meadow cardstock and the Leaf punch. Stamp the leaf details onto the leaf, using the leaf stamp from the Harvest Hellos stamp set and Mossy Meadow ink. Adhere the leaf with a glue dot to the "Apple".
Attach the sentiment to the "Apple" box using linen thread.
To make the Apple Notecard Holder
Adhere the Pretty Peacock cardstock onto the top of the mini pizza box.
Adhere the checkered DSP from the Come To Gather DSP on top of the Pretty Peacock cardstock.
Cut out the scalloped circle using the 2 1/2" scalloped edged die from the Layering Circles die and Pretty Peacock cardstock and your die cutting machine. Adhere to the center of the box front.
Cut out the Whisper White circle using the 2 3/8" stitched circle die and your die cutting machine. Adhere this on top of the Pretty Peacock scalloped circle.
Using Real Red Glimmer paper and the Apple Builder punch out the apple. Adhere apple to the front of the box.
Stamp the leaf onto Mossy Meadow cardstock scrap using the leaf stamp from the Harvest Hellos stamp set. Stamp the stem onto Early Espresso cardstock scrap using the stem stamp from the Harvest Hellos stamp set. Using the Apple Builder Punch cut out the apple leaf and stem. Adhere the leaf and stem onto the top of the apple.
Stamp the sentiment in Real Red ink onto Whisper White cardstock. Cut out the sentiment using the Heart die from the Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box die and your die cutting machine. Using Linen Thread tie a bow onto the heart. Adhere the heart onto the front of the card.
To make the Apple note card.
Make the apples by stamping the apple stamp from the Harvest Hellos stamp set onto your choice of color cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento ink. The apple slice was stamped onto Very Vanilla cardstock and colored with Stampin' Blends. The seed is colored with Early Espresso Stampin' Write Marker and the area around the seed is colored with Light Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends.
Cut out the apples using the Apple Builder punch. When cutting out the apple slice, you will need to cut the straight side with your paper trimmer or paper snips. Adhere the apples to the card front.
Stamp the worm from the Wiggle Worm stamp set using Tuxedo Black Memento ink. Color the worm using the Stampin’ Blends colors of your choice. Cut out the worm with the Wiggly Bugs dies and your die cutting machine. Adhere the worm to the card front.
Stamp the leaf onto either Granny Apple Green or Mossy Meadow cardstock using the coordinating ink color. Stamp the stem onto Early Espresso cardstock using Early Espresso ink. Cut out the leaf and the stem using the Apple Builder punch. Adhere the leaf and stem onto the top of the apple.
