F un treat holders made with Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- 2 pieces each 3-3/4" x 5-1/2" of the same pattern from Wood Textures 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper, cut so the grain is running the same direction on both pieces
- 3-3/4" x 5-1/2" from Crumb Cake Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 3-1/2" from Powder Pink Cardstock
- 1" x 2" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1" x 4" from Garden Green Cardstock
Adhere one piece of the Wood Textures Designer Paper to the Crumb Cake rectangle by putting SNAIL Adhesive all over the Crumb Cake rectangle.
Tip: You can skip adhering the designer paper to a piece of cardstock if you wish, but having one piece adhered to some cardstock makes the finished crate treat holder a little sturdier.
Pick out the half crate framelit from the Wood Crate Framelits. Place the designer paper adhered to cardstock on the Cutting Pad on the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the half crate framelit on top. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot a couple of times. If necessary, use the Big Shot Die Brush to remove the pieces.
Repeat the step above with the plain piece of designer paper.
Use the Bone Folder to fold both pieces on all score lines.
Use SNAIL to adhere the two bottom pieces of the two crate halves together. Make sure the Crumb Cake Cardstock on the one crate half will be facing inwards when the crate is fully assembled.
Use pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive on the tabs on the sides of the crate halves to adhere the crate together.
Unlock the Banner Triple Punch. Slide one end of the strip of Garden Green Cardstock into the punch as far as it will go. Punch.
As you are ready to stamp using the Best Bunny Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "hoppy by to just say hi" sentiment from the Best Bunny Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Soft Suede Ink Pad. Stamp it on the punched strip of Garden Green so the notch is on the right and the sentiment is as close as possible to the notch.
Trim off the upper left corner of the sentiment banner at an angle so it won't stick out from behind the bunny later on.
Put a strip of Tear & Tape Adhesive along the bottom slat on the front of the crate and along the bottom center of the middle slat on the front of the crate. Remove the protective backings and adhere the sentiment strip to the bottom of the crate so the notched end sticks out past the right side of the crate just a bit.
Mount the bunny bottom on Block B. Ink it up with the Soft Suede Ink Pad. Stamp it on one end of the horizontal strip of Powder Pink Cardstock so the feet are on the bottom.
Unlock the Bunny Builder Punch. Holding the punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the stamped bunny bottom into the punch and get it centered in the punching area. Punch. Leave the punch unlocked.
Adhere the punched out bunny bottom to the front of the crate so the left foot sticks out from the left side of the crate just a bit.
Mount the bunny head on Block B. Ink it up with the Soft Suede Ink Pad. Stamp it on the other end of the horizontal strip of Powder Pink Cardstock so the ears are pointing to the right.
Holding the unlocked Bunny Builder Punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the stamped bunny head into the punch and get it centered in the punching area. Punch. Leave the punch unlocked.
Mount the bunny face of choice on Block A. Ink it up with the Soft Suede Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the bunny head.
Put a Mini Stampin' Dimensional on the back of the bunny head punch out near the top of the head. Remove the protective backing and adhere the bunny head to the front of the crate so it is on top of the bunny bottom and slightly tilted.
Mount the set of two bunny paws on Block A. Ink them up with the Soft Suede Ink Pad. Stamp them somewhere on the remaining strip of Powder Pink Cardstock so the folded ends of the paws are on the bottom.
Holding the unlocked Bunny Builder Punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the stamped bunny paws into the punch and get them centered in the punching area. Punch. Leave the punch unlocked.
Use Paper Snips to cut tiny pieces from the edge of a sheet of Mini Stampin' Dimensionals. Use the tiny pieces of dimensionals to adhere the punched out bunny paws to the bunny's body.
Mount the bunny tail on Block A. Ink it up with the Soft Suede Ink Pad. Stamp it on one end of the strip of white cardstock.
Holding the unlocked Bunny Builder Punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the stamped bunny tail into the punch and get it centered in the punching area. Punch.
Adhere the punched out bunny tail to the front of the crate so it is tucked behind the left side of the bunny body and sticks out to the left side of the crate just a bit.
