- 4" x 5-1/4" from Highland Heather Cardstock
- 1-3/4" x 5-1/4" of tightly packed, large lavender stems in various purples on light brown background design from Perennial Lavender 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper, cut so the stems are vertical on the vertical rectangle
- 2" x 2-7/8" from Gorgeous Grape Cardstock
- 1-7/8" x 2-3/4" from Highland Heather Cardstock
- 1-7/8" x 2-3/4" from Vellum Cardstock
- 1" x 6" from Highland Heather Cardstock
- 1" x 9" from Gorgeous Grape Cardstock
As you are ready to stamp using the Heartfelt Hexagon Set, place the vellum on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
DO THIS STEP FIRST!
Mount the "I hope your day is filled with joy" sentiment from the Heartfelt Hexagon Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Gorgeous Grape Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the vertical vellum rectangle. Set aside to allow to dry.
Insert the large Highland Heather rectangle into the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder so the lines of type will run horizontally across the vertical rectangle. Use the line printed on the front flap of the folder to make sure it is lined up straight. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on the platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
Lay the dry embossed Highland Heather rectangle on some Grid Paper on your work surface.
Ink up the Stampin' Brayer by running it across the open Highland Heather Ink Pad several times. Make sure not to roll back and forth, but roll from one direction only.
Roll the inked up Stampin' Brayer across the dry embossed Highland Heather rectangle using a very light touch. Repeat a couple of times with a newly re-inked brayer until you have the coverage you want.
Note: I just clean the brayer by running it under some water and letting it air dry.
Adhere the strip of Painted Lavender Designer Paper to the left side of the vertical, dry embossed and brayered Highland Heather rectangle.
Cut a 5-3/4" piece of the Orchid Oasis 1/8" Metallic Woven Ribbon. Lay the ribbon across the matted cardstock/designer paper rectangle so it covers the seam between the two pieces. Fold the ends of the ribbon over and secure the ribbon in place on the back with strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape pieces and add Stampin' Seal to the back of the Highland Heather rectangle. Adhere the rectangle to the front of the Gorgeous Grape card.
If your vellum sentiment is dry, proceed with the next step.
Put a tiny dot of Stampin' Seal or Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen in the upper left corner of the vertical small Highland Heather rectangle. Adhere the sentiment vellum rectangle to the Highland Heather rectangle using this dot of glue. Make sure all the edges are even.
Adhere the layered vellum/cardstock to the center of the Gorgeous Grape rectangle.
Adhere the matted sentiment rectangle to the front of the card as shown so it just overlaps the right edge of the designer paper and is about 1/2" from the right and bottom edges.
Pick out the smaller stems and flowers die from the Painted Lavender Dies. Put it on top of one end of the narrow Highland Heather strip on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces as needed. Repeat with the other end. Leave the die out.
Put the smaller stems and flowers die on top of one end of the narrow Gorgeous Grape strip on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces as needed. Repeat two more times.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the ends of the stems of lavender cut outs to the upper left corner of the matted sentiment rectangle as shown so two Gorgeous Grape and one Highland Heather stick out towards the upper right corner of the card and one of each color sticks out towards the lower left corner of the card.
Cut a 16" piece of the Orchid Oasis 1/8" Metallic Woven Ribbon.
Fold the ribbon in half. Tie a small bow in the center of the folded ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon bow at a slight angle to the front of the card as shown so it covers the ends of the lavender stems as much as possible.
Carefully lift the bottom right corner of the vellum rectangle up. Put a Mini Glue Dot on the lower right corner of the Highland Heather rectangle. Press the vellum back down in place.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 1 large Gorgeous Grape gem from the sheet of Purple Fine Shimmer Gems making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the front of the card as shown so it covers the glue dot used to hold the lower right corner of the vellum in place.
