F lowers for Every Season paper pack has such pretty prints. When you pair a die cut with a punched piece, you have added interest to your card front.
Project Recipe
Card Base: Cut Misty Moonlight 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Bumblebee paper 4 X 5 1/4
Card Front: Cut flower print from Flowers For Every Season paper 3 7/8 X 5 ⅛.
Cut a piece of Bumblebee ribbon 5 ½” and knot close to one end. Attach this ribbon ½” from the bottom of the flower print card front, wrapping ribbon around to the back of the card front.
Attach the card front to the Bumblebee card mat. Attach these to the Misty Moonlight card base.
Die cut from Basic White the 2nd largest shaped die (die that is not a rectangle shape). Stamp sentiment on this piece with Misty Moonlight ink.
Cut a piece of Bumblebee ½ X 3 ½ and punch each end with the Lovely Label Pick a Punch. Attach this piece to the center back of the stamped white die cut. Attach these pieces to the card front. Add an In Color enamel dot to each end of the Bumblebee strip.
That’s it; you have finished your card front. For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Whisper White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
