Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and shimmer vellum pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Polished Pink Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 2" x 4-1/4" of Polished Pink Shimmer Vellum from 2021-2023 In Color Shimmer Vellum
- 2" x 3-1/2" from Polished Pink Cardstock
- 1/2" x 5-1/4" of Polished Pink Shimmer Vellum from 2021-2023 In Color Shimmer Vellum
- 1/8" x 5-1/4" from Basic Black Cardstock
Mount the large splatter image from the Painted Poppies Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Polished Pink Ink Pad. Stamp it in a diagonal line from the upper right corner of the vertical white rectangle to about 1/2" from the lower left corner. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Let some of the images go off the edges of the rectangle, so be sure to have a piece of Grid Paper under your cardstock to protect your work surface.
Mount the small splatter image from the Painted Poppies Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Polished Pink Ink Pad. Stamp it along the previously stamped diagonal line of large splatters as needed to fill in the line a bit. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Let some of the images go off the edges of the rectangle, so be sure to have a piece of Grid Paper under your cardstock to protect your work surface.
Put a line off Tear & Tape Adhesive vertically down the left side of the stamped white rectangle about 1/4" from the left edge. Remove the protective backing and adhere the long, thin strip of pink shimmer vellum to it so the top and bottom ends are even.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the thin strip of black cardstock down the center of the strip of pink shimmer vellum so the top and bottom ends are even.
Mount the sentiment of choice from the Peaceful Moments Set on an appropriate sized block. Ink it up with the Jet Black StazOn Ink Pad. Stamp it on the small Polished Pink cardstock rectangle so it is slightly left of center.
Pick out the smaller label die with rounded ends from the Painted Labels Dies. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the sentiment is centered up and down and closer to the left edge. Run through the machine.
Adhere the sentiment label cut out to the lower right side of the stamped and layered white rectangle so the bottom is about 1/2" from the bottom edge and the right side of the sentiment label cut out overhangs the right edge. Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut off excess sentiment label cut out on the right side.
Adhere the stamped and layered white rectangle to the front of the Polished Pink card.
Mount the large, single flower image from the Painted Poppies Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Jet Black StazOn Ink Pad. Stamp it on one end of the large pink shimmer vellum strip.
Mount the small, single flower image from the Painted Poppies Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Jet Black StazOn Ink Pad. Stamp it on the other end of the pink shimmer vellum strip. Leave space between the images so you can cut them out with the dies.
Pick out the matching flower dies from the Painted Labels Dies. Put them on top of the stamped flowers on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the flowers are centered inside their dies. Make sure the dies do not overlap. Run through the machine.
Use large dimensionals from the Black Stampin' Dimensionals Combo Pack to adhere the flower cut outs to the front of the card as shown.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up three large Polished Pink jewels from the sheet of 2021-2023 In Color Jewels making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere one to the center of the large flower, one to the top of the thin black strip on the left side of the card, and one somewhere between the large flower and the sentiment label.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up two small Polished Pink jewels from the sheet of 2021-2023 In Color Jewels making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them randomly to the card front.
