Cut a piece of 12x12 Designer Series Paper into 12x5.25. Score the long side at 4 and 8 inches. Looking at the paper with the side that will become the inside cut on a diagonal from the top of the 4 inch score line to the outside bottom left corner. The cut piece can’t be used for another project.
Run adhesive along the bottom of the panel that is now a triangle and fold inwards to create a pocket. Continue to fold the next score line so that the flap with the pocket will be the front of the card.
Using a piece of 4.25x5.5 Cherry Cobbler adhere the DSP card so that the back panel of the DSP and the cardstock together create the back of the card.
TO decorate the front of the card we will start with a piece of 4-3/8 by 3-3/8 vellum. Adhere the largest (3-3/8 long) oval die in Basic Black to the card front about .5 inch from the top. On scrap Whisper White stamp the greeting in Cherry Cobbler. Run through the Big Shot with the largest Oval Stitched Die (3.25 long). After cutting embellish with the little swirl stamp in Garden Green. Doing this step afterwards ensures better placement within the oval shape. Adhere to the black oval.
Cut out your three snowflakes and gather your pearls. On a small dish pour out a very small amount of Frost White Shimmer Paint and add one or two drops of Garden Green re-inker. Mix well. Using an almost dry Aqua-pen filled with rubbing alcohol (to aid drying) paint the snowflakes and pearls to make them a pale green shimmer. Let dry.
Adhere the snowflakes to the bottom portion of the vellum and place the pearls in the centre of each. Now you can adhere the vellum to the card front. Place your adhesive so it is hidden by the oval and the snowflakes.
Don't forget to choose a stamp for the envelope corner or back flap!
