Project Recipe
Dimensions:
Bermuda Bay card base: 4 1/4" x 11", scored & folded at 5 1/2"
Shimmery White front layer: 4" x 5 1/4"
Whisper White inside layer: 4" x 5 1/4"
Bohemian Designer Series Paper envelope liner: 3" x 6"
To create your circle template, cut a piece of copy paper or other scrap paper 4" x 5 1/4". Cut out a circle shape in the center using the second from the outside scalloped ring of Circle Collection Framelits. Lightly add 2-way glue around the edge of the circle shape and along the outside edges of the layer. Allow to air dry for a few minutes so the glue will dry to Post-it Note tackiness. Discard the inner circle.
Lay the prepared circle template on the Shimmery White front layer. Line up the edges of the template with the outside edges of the Shimmery White layer. Stamp around the edges of the circle using Bermuda Bay, Cucumber Crush, Melon Mambo, and Daffodil Delight ink and Botanical Blooms stamps. Stamp firmly along the circle edge. Part of your image will be stamped on the scrap circle and part of it will be stamped on the Shimmery White. Stamp all of your images close together so there are no gaps between the images.
After you have stamped all of the images, including the center greeting from That Thing You Did in Archival Basic Black, carefully remove the circle template. You can save it to re-use on another card. You may be able to use this template several times if you allow the ink to dry between uses. If the paper becomes too saturated with ink it will bleed onto the stamping layer. Discard when the template becomes too inky to use.
Punch the corners of the finished front layer with the corner rounder on the Envelope Punch Board. Adhere to Bermuda Bay card front with a Stampin' Dimensional in each corner.
Stamp inside Whisper White layer with the same colors and stamps you used on the front. Stamp a sentiment from Botanicals For You Sale-a-bration with black ink. Stamp a birthday greeting from You're So Lovely with black ink if desired. Adhere inside card with SNAIL adhesive.
Cut 3” x 6” of Designer Series Paper with largest Envelope Liner Thinlet. Adhere inside envelope just below the glue line using a line of SNAIL ONLY along the top edge of the liner. Fold envelope flap down to crease the liner and push it farther down into the envelope. Stamp the envelope to match your card and you are done!
